Overview
Vicki Hager is a paralegal in Stoel Rives’ Litigation group. Vicki has more than 20 years’ experience as a litigation paralegal and senior litigation paralegal, including eight years at Bigelow Bennett & Leedom (2013–2021). She is highly experienced in complex e-discovery cases, having handled cases of up to 800,000 documents in loading, managing, coding, searching, sorting, and producing responsive documents.
Vicki has provided support in all phases of litigation, including case review, discovery, motion practice, trial, and appeal. Her responsibilities have included factual investigation, document review and production, deposition preparation, case management, legal document drafting, legal expert preparation, and trial support. At one point, she was lead paralegal on 90% of the Catholic clergy sexual abuse cases in the state of Washington.
Vicki has also drafted pleadings that include ER 904, Joint Statement of Evidence, Exchange of Witnesses, fact sections of Trial Brief and assistance with Jury Instructions; drafted discovery requests and responses, and fact sections; and assisted with legal sections of briefing.
For more than a decade, Vicki has taught a course in paralegal studies—first at Seattle Central Community College and, currently, at Green River College.
