Overview
Tyler Clarke co-leads Stoel Rives’ firm-wide Agribusiness Industry Group. He represents clients in complex real estate transactions, with a focus on the agricultural, timber, vineyard, and renewable energy sectors. Tyler has advised clients throughout the country and across industries and asset classes, ranging from office, multifamily, and industrial developments in urban areas to farmland, timberland, and vineyard transactions. He has advised on a number of renewable energy projects, including renewable natural gas, solar, and wind energy projects. He also represents clients in the real estate aspects of M&A transactions.
Before joining Stoel Rives, Tyler was an associate and summer associate for a prominent law firm in Dallas, Texas. While in law school, he was a judicial intern for Magistrate Judge Paul Papak of the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon.

- Represents agribusinesses, investment advisors, and asset managers regarding the acquisition, disposition, and leasing of farmland, including leading transaction teams to draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements and leases, oversee due diligence review, and manage transactions through closing, with transaction size ranging from $2 million to $50+ million.
- Representation of asset manager in acquisition and dispositions of farmland in the California Central Valley with total transaction values in excess of $100 million.
- Representation of vineyard in the disposition of 45-acre property in Washington’s Red Mountain AVA.

- Regularly represents timber and forest products companies, investment advisors, and asset managers regarding the acquisition and disposition of timberlands, with transaction size ranging from under $5 million to $200+ million.
