Overview
For more than 30 years, Quentin Knipe has been helping clients buy, sell, lease, finance, and develop real estate. His real estate work involves handling purchases, sales, and leases of commercial property and residential developments; conducting due diligence reviews; and assisting both borrowers and lenders with real estate-secured financing. His development work involves pursuing government permits, approvals, and entitlements, and negotiating and drafting construction contracts, development agreements, restrictive covenants, easements, and maintenance agreements. He also assists real estate developers and investors with tax increment financing and the formation of joint ventures and business entities.

- Represented Idaho-based Coleman Homes in the acquisition of substantially all of its assets and operations by Toll Brothers, a national builder of luxury homes.
- Represented resort owner in the sale of a destination ski and summer resort in Idaho.
- Represented various solar energy facility developers in the acquisition or leasing of numerous project sites and the negotiation and drafting of various access and transmission easements.
- Represented regional medical center in the acquisition, development, and leasing of various medical and office facilities including an office complex containing over 600,000 square feet of building area.
- Represented major supermarket/pharmacy chain in the acquisition of numerous store sites and the acquisition and development of numerous grocery and pharmacy-anchored shopping centers.
- Represented major life insurance company in the documentation of more than 50 different real estate-secured loans, ranging from $1 million to $86 million.

- Represented homebuilders and investors in the acquisition of various residential developments and parcels for development.

- Represented major forest products company in the real estate aspects related to disposition of a lumber mill and the acquisition of a wood chipping operation.
