Overview

Kevin Schock is a trial attorney and trusted advisor to individual and corporate clients with experience in arbitrations and trials in complex commercial disputes in matters related to antitrust, consumer protection, breach of contract, employment, intellectual property, products liability, trusts and estates, and white-collar investigations, among others.

As a trusted advisor, Kevin has also counseled industry-leading clients on how to legally achieve their sales, marketing, and operational goals, helped clients establish antitrust compliance programs, and worked with clients to navigate issues related to corporate governance, employee mobility, defense of intellectual property disputes, material security disclosures, class-action opt-outs, and evaluating whether to pursue litigation.

Before joining Stoel Rives, Kevin worked as senior counsel with. He gained extensive litigation experience at two international law firms.

  • In-house counsel supporting the sales, marketing, operational, and manufacturing groups of a leading technology company.
  • Successfully resolved a case on behalf of an international architectural firm in a case where the client alleged theft of trade secrets, unfair competition, and breaches of contract.
  • Obtained temporary restraining orders and successfully resolved the overall dispute in a significant breach of a noncompete agreement case in the healthcare sales and marketing sector.
  • Helped implement a comprehensive antitrust compliance program at a leading pharmaceutical company.
  • Obtained the reversal of the conviction of a man who had been wrongfully convicted of murder and incarcerated for over 30 years.
