Overview
Kenny Gutierrez is an intellectual property (IP) attorney who counsels clients on IP and commercial transaction issues. Kenny has drafted and negotiated various commercial agreements relating to IP and technology transactions, including various IP licenses, SaaS agreements, professional services agreements, terms of use, master service agreements, supply agreements, technology distribution agreements, and reseller agreements.
Kenny also advises clients on complex data security and privacy matters, including ensuring compliance with various regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and drafting privacy policies and data processing agreements under U.S. and EU laws.
Before joining Stoel Rives, Kenny was a Bridge Fellow with the Electronic Frontier Foundation and a legal intern with Cisco Systems. Kenny completed the Google – Ropes & Gray – Legal Summer Institute training program.
