Overview
Jacob Gerrish is an associate litigator who has experience working on various substantive areas, from contract disputes and property disputes to issues of constitutional and statutory interpretation, among others.
Before joining Stoel Rives, Jacob was a law clerk to the Honorable Judge Christina Rankin of the Alaska Superior Court and to the Honorable Justice Daniel E. Winfree and the Honorable Justice Jude Pate of the Alaska Supreme Court. While attending law school, he was a legal intern in the Juneau Field Office of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Office of General Counsel, and a judicial extern for the Honorable Magistrate Judge Donna M. Ryu of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. A lifelong Alaskan, Jacob worked as a legislative aide to a member of the Alaska State Legislature before becoming an attorney.
