Overview
Chris Huong is an energy development attorney who represents clients in the energy industry on a variety of domestic and cross-border transactions, including tax equity finance transactions and acquisitions and dispositions involving energy projects under development or construction or in operation.
Chris has experience drafting and reviewing transaction documents and project agreements, including purchase and sale agreements, operating agreements, power purchase agreements, EPC contracts, O&M agreements, supply agreements, site control agreements and service agreements; coordinating with local counsel; overseeing closing matters; and managing due diligence.

Experience
- Represented a national wholesale distributor of heating, ventilating and air conditioning equipment and supplies in the acquisition of local distribution outlets and post-acquisition contract administration, including matters relating to transition services and intercompany arrangements.
- Represented project developers and tax equity investors with respect to the financing of partnership flip renewable power transactions on a single project and portfolio basis.
- Represented a public company in the sale of a multi-state natural gas pipeline.
- Represented a Thai public company in the acquisition of a minority ownership interest in its acquisition of a business specializing in researching, designing, manufacturing and integrating Lithium-Ion Batteries for the automotive industry and energy storage systems.
