Overview

Chris Criglow focuses his practice on real estate and business transactions and counseling across industries and asset classes focusing particularly on agricultural lands and investment(e.g., permanent and row crop), timberlands investment, renewable energy project development (e.g., solar, wind, and storage), infrastructure development projects (e.g., RNG), and complex project development (e.g., manufacturing, distribution, etc.) including “greenfield” development and “brownfield” re-development projects.

Chris’s goal in every representation is to provide responsive, efficient service, and sound counsel to help clients achieve their objectives.

    • Representation of investment advisors and asset managers in acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and financing of agricultural portfolio assets, including row crop farms, berry ranches, wine vineyards, and tree nut orchards.
    • Representation of a large national agricultural landowner in acquisition of 22,500-acre farming operation in Eastern Washington out of Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
    • Representation of 90,000-acre farming and dairy operation in Eastern Oregon in various real estate, financing, and operational matters, including development and sale of a large-scale renewable natural gas conditioning and delivery facility.
    • Representation of international farming and packing company in real estate leasing, acquisition, and disposition matters.
    • Representation of investment fund in development of dairy-based RNG projects.
    • Representation of landowners and developers in anerobic digester-based RNG development projects.
    • Representation of public utility in acquisition and negotiation of conservation easement for protection of wildlife habitat.
    • Representation of several leading national developers of wind, solar, and energy storage projects in real estate matters including leasing, acquisition of easements, title and survey due diligence, and project acquisitions and dispositions.
