Overview

Archer Wu is an associate in Stoel Rives’ Corporate practice group, specializing in financing, corporate governance matters and mergers and acquisitions. With a focus on the renewable energy industry, Archer assists project sponsors, financial institutions, and investors with the acquisition, development, financing, and sale of renewable energy projects.

Before joining Stoel Rives, Archer was a legal extern to Justice Steven C. González of the Washington State Supreme Court and a legal extern at the Washington Attorney General’s Office, where Archer gained invaluable experience conducting legal research relating to regulatory policy and compliance.

During law school, Archer was a member of the University of Washington School of Law’s Entrepreneurial Law Clinic, where she assisted early-stage entrepreneurs with their legal needs. Prior to law school, Archer worked in multinational corporations in Shanghai and New York. The pre-law experiences provided firsthand experience with complex international business operations, diverse legal and regulatory environments, cross-border transactions, which has enhanced her ability to provide effective counsel and strategic solutions in the realm of corporate law.

  • Assisted in representation of a sponsor in connection with debt and tax equity financing for a geothermal facility in Utah.
  • Representation of Silicon Ranch Corporation in connection with the combined debt and tax equity financing of the 345 MWdc Toombs solar project, with a large-scale construction crossed two counties in Georgia.
  • Represented a C&I solar developer and financier in multiple acquisitions of solar power generation projects and battery storage systems to expand its project portfolio.
  • Representation of the sponsor and its affiliates in the construction and term debt financing and inverted lease tax equity financing of two utility projects (each of approximate 79 MW AC) located in Mississippi.
  • Assisted in representation of Point B, Inc., an employee-owned management consulting firm, in its partnership with Endeavour Capital.
  • Assisted in representation of Nichirei Foods, Inc., a Japanese corporation, in the acquisition of 51% of the equity interest in Innov Asian Cuisine Enterprises, Inc.
