Wendy Olson Receives Exemplary Lawyer Award From Idaho Chapter, Federal Bar Association

Boise, Idaho – Stoel Rives LLP is pleased to announce that partner Wendy Olson has been selected by the Idaho Chapter of the Federal Bar Association (FBA) as a recipient of its 2017 Exemplary Lawyer award honoring attorneys who have improved the quality of practice in Idaho's federal courts. Olson will receive the award at a luncheon during the U.S. Courts Bench-Bar Conference in Boise on November 3.

The Idaho Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, formed in 2004 and including the entire State and District of Idaho, has since its creation sought to fulfil its stated mission of advancing the science of jurisprudence and promoting the welfare, interests, education, and professional growth and development of the members of the Federal legal profession. The chapter established the Exemplary Service Award in 2008 to recognize federal practitioners who have consistently demonstrated professionalism, collegiality, service, mentoring, and quality legal representation throughout their careers. 

Olson, former U.S. Attorney for the District of Idaho and a past FBA Idaho Chapter president, practices as a partner in Stoel Rives’ Litigation group focusing on government investigations, white collar criminal defense, and civil litigation. She has more than two decades of experience prosecuting white collar crime cases along with criminal civil rights violations, child sexual exploitation cases, and Idaho’s only federal death penalty case.
