Wendy J. Olson Named 2017 Idaho Business Review ‘Leader In Law’

BOISE, Idaho – Stoel Rives LLP is pleased to announce that partner Wendy Olson has been named a 2017 Leader in Law by the Idaho Business Review. Olson and the other award recipients, selected by a committee of former honorees and a representative of the University of Idaho College of Law, were chosen for their professional achievements, leadership in their profession and in the community, and volunteer work. They were recognized at an awards reception held Nov. 16 in Boise.  

Former U.S. Attorney for the District of Idaho, Olson is a partner in Stoel Rives’ Litigation group who focuses her practice on government investigations, white collar criminal defense, and civil litigation. She has more than two decades of experience prosecuting white collar crime cases along with criminal civil rights violations, child sexual exploitation cases, and Idaho’s only federal death penalty case. Olson is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers (ACTL), an invitation-only fellowship of exceptional trial lawyers of diverse backgrounds from the United States and Canada.

In 2017, Olson also has received the “Justice for All” award from the Idaho State Bar’s Diversity Section and an Exemplary Lawyer award from the Idaho Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.
