Wendy Goffe Inducted into NAEPC ‘Estate Planning Hall of Fame®’ and Awarded Accredited Estate Planner® (Distinguished) Designation
PORTLAND, Ore. — Stoel Rives LLP is pleased to announce that partner Wendy Goffe has been elected by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils (NAEPC) to its Estate Planning Hall of Fame® and awarded the organization’s Accredited Estate Planner® (Distinguished) designation for 2021. Goffe and the other inductees were honored on November 4, 2021, by NAEPC leadership during a special virtual award ceremony.
Goffe is one of only nine estate planning professionals to be inducted to NAEPC’s Hall of Fame and to receive its prestigious annual award in 2021. The Accredited Estate Planner® (Distinguished) designation recognizes an individual’s lifetime achievement and outstanding contributions to the practice and profession of estate planning within the professional disciplines of academia, accounting, insurance and financial planning, law, philanthropy, and trust services.
NAEPC is a national organization of professional estate planners and affiliated local estate planning councils dedicated to the cultivation of excellence in estate planning. NAEPC fosters the multi-disciplinary approach to estate planning by serving estate planning councils and their credentialed members and delivering exceptional resources and unsurpassed education. Furthermore, NAEPC awards and administers the Accredited Estate Planner® (AEP®) designation, the only graduate level, multi-disciplinary specialization in estate planning, obtained in addition to already recognized professional credentials within the various disciplines of estate planning.
Goffe has more than 25 years of experience counseling clients on estate planning issues. Her experience includes advising clients on matters including probate and trust administration, estate and gift taxation, charitable giving and nonprofit trusts and corporations, family-owned business succession, and issues concerning unmarried couples. She has extensive experience preparing prenuptial, postnuptial, and cohabitation agreements.
