Tim Taylor Named to Lawyers of Color’s Inaugural Nation’s Best List
SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Stoel Rives LLP is pleased to announce that partner Timothy M. Taylor has been named to Lawyers of Color’s inaugural Nation’s Best list. The list recognizes law firm partners and senior-level corporate counsel who have achieved prominence and distinction in their fields and demonstrated a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion in the legal profession. The honorees were celebrated at a reception on June 13, 2019, in San Francisco.
Selectees to the list were chosen by a Lawyers of Color selection committee, comprised of fellows of the organization, advisers, and editorial staff, which looked for attorneys with noteworthy accomplishments and a commitment to advancing diversity in the legal profession.
One of the best-known environmental and land use lawyers in the Sacramento region, for more than 30 years, Taylor has helped residential, commercial and industrial developers comply with California’s numerous land use and environmental laws, with a particular focus on the California Environmental Quality Act and related litigation. Taylor has been a visiting professor and lecturer at the University of California, Davis, School of Law since 1994. He is currently Chair of Stoel Rives’ Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
“Tim is very deserving of this recognition,” said James E.
