Theresa Rambosek Joins Stoel Rives’ Seattle Health Care Team
SEATTLE — Stoel Rives LLP, an Am Law 200 law firm, announced today that Theresa J. Rambosek joined the firm’s Seattle office as Of Counsel in the Health Care practice group. Stoel Rives’ Health Care practice provides legal services across the full spectrum of health care and health plan law, including regulatory compliance with federal and state laws and regulations, in addition to corporate, tax, labor and employment, employee benefits, intellectual property, real estate and litigation.

A prominent Seattle attorney, Rambosek joins Stoel from CommonSpirit Health (formerly Catholic Health Initiatives), where she was Vice President and General Counsel for its Northwest Division covering Washington and Oregon. In this role, she provided legal counsel for a large and complex health care system that includes urban and rural hospitals, multi-specialty clinics, an ACO, numerous strategic partnerships. She has over 30 years of experience advising non-profit and for-profit hospitals and healthcare systems, physician practices and medical groups, insurers, IPAs and other clients regarding transactions, Stark and anti-kickback laws, governance, certificate of need requirements, reimbursement issues, medical staff affairs, tax-exemption, and other matters. Prior to CommonSpirit Health, she was Senior Attorney at Bennett Bigalow & Leedom and Corporate Counsel at PeaceHealth, a not-for-profit health care system with medical centers, critical access hospitals and medical clinics located in Washington, Oregon and Alaska.

Active in the Washington health care community, Rambosek is currently Chair of the Board of Directors for Project Access Northwest, a Seattle-based nonprofit committed to improving access to specialty health care for low-income and uninsured patients. She is a member of American Health Lawyers Association and Washington State Society of Healthcare Attorneys and received her J.D. from Gozanga University School of Law.
