Stoel Rives Represents Medius in Acquisition of OnPay Solutions
SEATTLE — Stoel Rives, an AmLaw 200 firm, represented Medius, a leading provider of accounts payable (AP) automation solutions, in its acquisition of U.S.-based OnPay Solutions, an invoice payments provider, for an undisclosed amount.
The acquisition will afford Medius the ability to integrate payment processing into its source-to-pay platform, rounding out its suite of amenities and positioning the company as a full-service payment processing provider. The Swedish-based company is also expanding its U.S. footprint, as it onboards 35 OnPay staff members and plans to open an office in Jacksonville, Florida, OnPay Solutions’ hometown.
The Stoel Rives legal team that advised Medius was led by Seattle-based Kirsten Koester and included attorneys Monica Keo and Emily Spallino.
“Working with Branden Jenkins, Chief Strategy Officer of Medius, was a great experience, and it was a pleasure to be part of the deal team,” Koester said.
More information about Medius and the impact of this acquisition is available in the Medius press announcement.
