Stoel Rives Boise Office Wins Pro Bono Award
Boise, ID — Stoel Rives LLP is pleased to announce that its Boise office has received the Idaho State Bar’s 6.1 Challenge Award in the Large Firm category. The awards recognize pro bono and public service activities from members of the Fourth District Bar in celebration of Law Day on May 1.
Applications were reviewed by members of the federal and state judiciary and evaluated the type and quality of the pro bono activities, the percentage of attorneys participating, and the number of hours conducted on behalf of the community. Awards were given in the categories of Corporate, Large Firm, Solo Practitioner and Small Firm.
“We are very honored to have been selected as a winner this year. Stoel Rives is committed to pro bono work, and our lawyers take their involvement to heart in helping the underserved community,” said Tami Boeck, Boise Office Pro Bono Coordinator. “We sincerely appreciate the acknowledgment by the legal community.”
The 6.1 Challenge is named after Idaho Rule of Professional Conduct 6.1 that states, “Every lawyer has a professional responsibility to provide legal services to those unable to pay.”
