Stoel Rives’ Attorney Melissa Foster Joins Board of University of Oregon Law School Alumni Association
PORTLAND, Ore. — Stoel Rives LLP is pleased to announce that partner Melissa A. Foster has joined the board of the University of Oregon Law School Alumni Association (LSAA).
LSAA provides a means for its members to stay connected with fellow alumni and works to ensure a continuation of the quality legal education offered by the law school. LSAA members have the opportunity to interact with current and potential Oregon Law students, connect with law school alumni across the country through networking and mentoring events, and take advantage of the many benefits offered by the association.
A Sacramento-based partner in Stoel Rives’ Environment, Land Use and Natural Resources group, Foster focuses her practice on facility siting, environmental compliance, and enforcement defense. Her experience includes permitting natural gas-fired and solar energy facilities, as well as regulatory compliance and permitting involving water quality issues.
Foster received her law degree from the University of Oregon School of Law in 2003. She was a research assistant at the University of Oregon School of Law Ocean and Coastal Law Center from 2002 to 2003. She is a past or present member of several other boards and professional organizations.
