Sarah Stauffer Curtiss Named One of the Portland Business Journal's 40 Under 40
As a natural resources lawyer and an advisor to the Firm’s clients in various industry sectors, including wind power, hydropower and forestry, Sarah helps clients comply with environmental and land use laws, and navigate complex federal and state permitting processes to achieve the authorizations necessary to build projects and operate their businesses. Her strengths include expert knowledge of the relevant laws and excellent communication and interpersonal skills that allow her to translate complex subject matter and enhance relationships with clients, conference audiences, government officials and technical team members.
In addition to serving as a partner in our environmental, land use and natural resource group, Sarah is a member of the Executive Committee for the Real Estate and Land Use Section of the Oregon State Bar. She served as a board member of the “I Have a Dream” Foundation from 2009 to 2014, volunteers with the Lewis & Clark Small Business Legal Clinic and acts as pro bono land use counsel to local nonprofit organizations. She also is a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Choir.
