Precision Castparts Acquires Composites Horizons, LLC
Portland, OR — Client Precision Castparts, a worldwide, diversified manufacturer of complex metal components and products, recently announced that is has agreed to acquire Composites Horizons, LLC (CHI) from American Industrial Partners. The financial terms were not disclosed.
CHI is the leading independent supplier of high temperature carbon and ceramic composite components, including ceramic matrix composites (CMC) for use in next-generation aerospace engines, which allows them to operate with higher fuel efficiency and lower emissions. The acquisition gives PCC the ability to offer its engine customers a wide range of metallic and CMC material capabilities. Parts made by CHI are expected to be used in many of the next generation of commercial airliners.
Jason Brauser led the Stoel Rives deal team, with substantial assistance from Brant Norquist, Laurie Huotari, Jennifer Johnson, Lara Dittman, Terrence Ehlers, Peter Serrurier, Chris Heuer, Bethany Bacci, Devin McComb and CJ Voss.
