Portland Business Journal Honors Partner Saskia de Boer Among 2025 ‘Women of Influence’

Stoel Rives LLP is pleased to announce that the Portland Business Journal has selected partner Saskia M. de Boer as a recipient of its 2025 “Women of Influence” award, which recognizes women in Oregon and Southwest Washington for achievements in business, nonprofits, and the public sector. An outside panel of judges selected the honorees based on their leadership and impact on the region. Winners will be featured in Portland Business Journal’s “Women of Influence” publication and recognized at an awards luncheon on March 12, 2025, at the Hilton in downtown Portland. De Boer, who practices in Stoel Rives’ corporate group, is a leading attorney in the specialized practice of nonprofit law. She advises the management and boards of large private foundations, public charities, schools, healthcare organizations, and advocacy organizations on various strategic and compliance matters, enabling mission-driven organizations to achieve their vision.

De Boer helps new nonprofit corporations form and obtain tax-exempt status and guides some of the Pacific Northwest’s oldest and largest organizations through the federal and state rules regulating the charitable sector. Combining her passion for community with her legal expertise, she partners with leaders to pioneer innovative ways to help organizations evolve, people thrive, and communities prosper.

Dedicated to protecting equal rights for women and reproductive rights, de Boer has been active with Planned Parenthood for over 25 years as a leader, volunteer, and attorney. She has been a board member to many of Portland’s leading charitable and cultural organizations and currently serves on the board of Portland Metro Chamber, the oldest, largest, and most diverse business organization in Oregon.
