Portland Attorney Jeremy Sacks Named a 2016 BTI Client Service All-Star

Portland, OR — The law firm of Stoel Rives LLP is pleased to announce that Portland office partner and business litigator Jeremy Sacks has been named a 2016 BTI Client Service All-Star by The BTI Consulting Group, a leading provider of strategic research to law firms and corporate general counsel. This is the second time Sacks has been named a BTI Client Service All-Star.

The BTI Client Service All-Stars 2016  comprises 312 attorneys nationwide, who were nominated independently by corporate counsel for client service performance exceeding all others.  BTI Consulting conducted a series of in-depth telephone interviews with corporate counsel to create the list.

Sacks was the only Oregon attorney recognized.  He was nominated by a leading consumer goods retailer for being exceptionally client focused in the following six attributes: putting his client’s needs first; creating unique, innovative solutions to drive a competitive advantage for his client’s business; his unmatched understanding of his client’s business objectives and competitive pressures; exceeding the expectations his client has of his legal skills; providing value and service above and beyond the call of duty; and providing outstanding results for his client.

In an article in Law 360 reporting publication of the Client All-Star list, Sacks noted that “You can’t just approach litigation work like a nine-to-five job where you’re just clocking in and out, nor can you treat working with your client like a cash-register transaction.”

Sacks, the chair of the Portland office trial group, focuses his practice on complex litigation in a variety of businesses, including the energy industry and health care industries.  He has experience litigating business torts, contract disputes, securities fraud, False Claims Act issues, shareholder disputes, class actions, licensing disputes and antitrust claims.  He also has substantial experience conducting internal corporate investigations and handling export and import matters.
