Pet Peace Of Mind Elects Bethany Bacci New Board Member
Portland, Ore. — Stoel Rives LLP is pleased to announce the appointment of Bethany Bacci to the board of directors of Pet Peace of Mind, a nonprofit that supports hospice and palliative care patients by providing a national support network to help care for the pets they love.
Bacci is a partner of the firm who practices in the area of employee benefit program compliance and design. When not focusing on her benefits practice, she serves as a member of Stoel Rives’ Pro Bono Committee and represents pro bono clients on a variety of issues through the Stoel Rives night clinic run in partnership with Multnomah County Legal Aid. She previously won the firm’s pro bono award in recognition of her service. Bacci has served on numerous boards of directors throughout her career.
Bacci received her J.D. cum laude from Northwestern School of Law, Lewis & Clark College, and her B.A. in Art History from Stanford University. She lives in Portland with her pet King Charles Cavalier, Harry.

Since 2009, the nonprofit has partnered with hospice and palliative care organizations to enrich the quality of life and well-being of their patients by providing a national support network to help care for the patients’ pets. Its program provides a turnkey approach to help the organizations establish a local program to train volunteers to help patients with their pet care needs.
