Partner Mary Hull Named a Portland Business Journal 2023 ‘Women of Influence’ Award Winner
PORTLAND, Ore.—Stoel Rives LLP is pleased to announce that partner Mary Hull has been selected by the Portland Business Journal as a recipient of its 2023 “Women of Influence” award, which recognizes the significant achievements of women leaders from across Oregon and southwest Washington. Winners will be featured in Portland Business Journal’s Women of Influence publication and honored at an awards luncheon on April 4 at the Hilton in downtown Portland. Now in its 20th year, the award honors a woman who is “considered an established business leader with a strong record of innovation in her field, outstanding performance in her business and/or a clear track record of meaningful community involvement.”
Hull, who practices in Stoel Rives’ Corporate practice group, has a general corporate and securities law practice in which she emphasizes the representation of emerging-growth companies. She regularly advises these companies on general corporate matters and has extensive experience in representing clients in venture capital and angel financings. Hull has broad experience representing public and private companies in mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, debt financing transactions, and executive compensation matters, and also represents clients in the health care industry, including physician groups and coordinated care organizations.
In 2023, Hull was named by Best Lawyers® as “Lawyer of the Year” in Portland in Mergers and Acquisitions Law. She is the current board chair of the Oregon Entrepreneurs Network and chair of the Oregon State University Advantage Accelerator Board of Advisors. Hull received her law degree, magna cum laude, from Tulane Law School and bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from Amherst College.
