New Leadership Appointments for Stoel Rives’ Executive Committee, Technology & Intellectual Property Practice Group
PORTLAND, Ore. — Stoel Rives LLP today announced leadership changes affecting the firm’s Executive Committee and its Technology & Intellectual Property (TIP) practice. All appointments are effective January 1, 2021.
Partners Beth S. Ginsberg, Nicole C. Hancock and Virginia M. Pedreira have joined Stoel Rives’ Executive Committee, joining Jason M. Brauser, Kevin T. Pearson, Scott F. Young and Firm Managing Partner Melissa A. Jones.
In addition, Salt Lake City partner Jason B. McCammon will replace R. Whitney “Whit” Johnson as practice group leader of the TIP group.
The Executive Committee provides strategic leadership and direction for Stoel Rives, delegating operational management to the firm managing partner and making all operating decisions and policies for the partnership.
Incoming TIP Practice Group Leader McCammon will coordinate the practice planning, marketing and lawyer training for the group and has primary responsibility for hiring decisions. He is a registered patent attorney whose practice focuses on all aspects of patent strategy and client counseling in a wide variety of technological areas, including medical devices, solar and green power technologies, and mechanical devices.
