Finalists Named in 2017 Idaho Innovation Awards Program
BOISE, Idaho — Finalists have been selected in the 12th Annual Idaho Innovation Awards, presented by Stoel Rives LLP, Trailhead and the Idaho Technology Council (ITC), with support from Deloitte. The Idaho Innovation Awards spotlight innovations, innovative professionals and innovative companies statewide. Winners will be named at an awards presentation during the ITC’s eighth annual Hall of Fame celebration on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Boise Centre.
As the state’s premier business innovation awards program, the Idaho Innovation Awards recognize groundbreaking accomplishments in five categories. Finalists include (alphabetical order):
Commercialized Innovation of the Year:

The nominations, submitted between June 5 and July 28, were judged by a selection committee consisting of leaders from Idaho’s business, technology and academic communities. Votes were tallied by accountants at Deloitte.
ITC Hall of Fame featuring the Idaho Innovation Awards
The ITC Hall of Fame recognizes innovative technology leaders who have made a significant contribution to Idaho’s technology community. Barbara Morgan, former NASA Astronaut and educator, and Burt Rutan, aerospace designer and engineer, are this year’s inductees. Morgan is the first female inductee to the Hall of Fame.
Prior to the Hall of Fame and Innovation Awards presentations, members of Idaho’s business and technology communities will exhibit their innovative products and technologies during an “Innovation Showcase” from 5:30 to 6:30 pm. The dinner and program follows from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Tickets, tables and sponsorships are available through the ITC website.
