Estate Planning Attorney Susan B. Bock to Advise Clients in Idaho
Boise, ID — Stoel Rives LLP is pleased to announce that Susan B. Bock, estate planning attorney, is bringing her expertise to Idaho’s Stoel Rives’ clients. Bock, who is based in the firm’s Portland office, will be splitting her time between Stoel Rives’ Boise and Portland offices.
Bock counsels clients in the administration of estates and trusts, as well as in planning for related estate, corporate, tax and financial matters. Her practice includes advising clients in the areas of income, estate, and gift taxes; counseling trustees and beneficiaries; and working with families and closely held businesses to achieve business succession planning and the creation of small family businesses. Bock has experience in charitable planning, international estate planning, and trust administration, and provides advice to trustees and beneficiaries. She has successfully represented numerous clients before the IRS and U.S. Tax Court regarding valuation of closely held business interests. Her clients describe her as “smart and efficient, and responsive to their individual needs.”
Bock joined Stoel Rives in 2015. She was sworn in to the Idaho bar in February 2019 and was previously admitted to practice in Oregon and before the U.S. Tax Court. Bock received her law degree with high honors from the Duke University School of Law and her undergraduate degree magna cum laude from Bryn Mawr College.
