Beth Ginsberg Receives PNWA 2015 Distinguished Service Award
Seattle, WA — Stoel Rives LLP is pleased to announce that partner Beth S. Ginsberg has been selected by the Pacific Northwest Waterways Association (PNWA) as a recipient of its 2015 Distinguished Service Award. The award will be presented October 7, 2015, at the PNWA’s Annual Convention Reception in Portland, Ore. Ginsberg will also be a speaker at the convention.
The PNWA is a regional trade group that for 80 years has supported through advocacy, access and federal public policy development the interests of ports, public utilities, farmers and shippers in the Pacific Northwest in critical economic and environmental issues. It seeks to improve the economic efficiency and environmental sustainability of the region through collaboration with the U.S. Congress, federal agencies and regional leaders on policies related to transportation, energy, trade and environmental issues. Stoel Rives currently advises PNWA in various environmental matters.
Beth Ginsberg's practice focuses on environmental, wildlife and natural resource litigation, permitting, and counseling for both public and private interests. Her clients include renewable and non-renewable energy producers, users and exporters; industrial, manufacturing and navigational interests; port authorities; cities and counties; and private landowners. She has nearly thirty years of experience in handling matters under all major federal and Washington state environmental and natural resources statutes.
