My name is Mary Sennes. I'm a corporate partner in the Minneapolis office. My practice is focused on M&A for renewable energy clients.

National collaboration on any and every given day

We have people across the firm that have industry expertise and one of the great things about being at Stoel is, even though I'm in a small office in Minneapolis, I can easily reach out to people in the Portland office, Seattle office, any of our California offices, and we have people in all different practice areas, especially in an M&A transaction where we need to touch on not just doing the M&A deal, but you'll have environmental, real estate, regulatory people in D.C. so we are able to utilize colleagues and resources from all the different offices.

We’ve got this down pat

We do so many M&A transactions for renewable energy clients. We have a system down and even with like diligence, for example, with the associates for doing due diligence, they know exactly what to look for in the various project contracts and they have developed a diligence template. I guess it is a really smooth process because we have done so many transactions, and we know how to issue-spot.
