Employee Privacy and Monitoring
The Stoel Rives Labor & Employment Group is excited to announce its 2014 Breakfast Briefings Series schedule. We invite you to join us at the Multnomah Athletic Club to learn all about recent developments and trends in the world of labor and employment law.
Please save the date for the following presentations:
- May 21: Ed Piper and Jay Eckhardt will lead an informative panel discussion, moderated by Ed Reeves, on employee privacy and monitoring.
- July 16: Victor Kisch and Terry Briscoe will discuss landmark changes in labor law, which are intended to clear the way for unions to organize non-union employers. This includes quickie elections, reports to the Department of Labor about “persuader activity,” and micro-units.
- September 10: Ed Reeves and Laura Rosenbaum will cover wage and hour tips, and steps employers can take now to ensure compliance
- November 12: Amy Joseph Pedersen and Melissa Healy will present on off-duty conduct and how to reduce risk when dealing with employees' behavior outside of the workplace.
