Employee Handbooks: Best Practices

Speaking Engagement

The fall is a good time for all employers to review their employee handbook to be sure it complies with new state and federal laws and best practices. But now is an especially important time for Oregon employers to do so, because on October 1, 2020 new provisions of the 2019 Oregon Workplace Fairness Act will go into effect including the requirement for Oregon employers to adopt a written anti-discrimination and anti-harassment policy. Please join labor and employment attorneys Brenda Baumgart and Ryan Kunkel for an important review of Oregon’s new requirements and best practices applicable to all employers.
