Copia Power Closes $1.7 Billion Construction Loan for Maricopa Energy Center in Arizona

Stoel Rives is pleased to have represented Copia Power in closing a $1.7 billion debt facility the company will use to fund construction of its Maricopa Energy Center, a 550 MW solar and 2,200 MWh battery energy storage project and Arizona’s largest energy-transition power generation project. The energy center is expected to reach commercial operation in 2026–2027.
