Stoel Rives Demonstrates Commitment with First-Year Student Diversity Fellowships

SEATTLE- Stoel Rives LLP has established two First-Year Student Diversity Fellowships, one to be awarded in each of the firm's Seattle and Portland offices. Each fellowship provides a student in his or her first year of law school a salaried 2004 summer associate position and a $7,500 scholarship to defray tuition and expenses during the 2004-2005 academic year.

The fellowships are the most recent expression of the firm's longstanding commitment to the recruitment, retention and promotion of attorneys who contribute to diversity of the firm and the legal community.

Selections for recipients of the fellowships will be made through an application and interview process and will be based on candidates' academic excellence and leadership ability, personal and professional accomplishments, commitment to community service, and interests outside the law.
