SACRAMENTO- Stoel Rives LLP, a full-service U.S. business law firm, has added four associates to its Sacramento office.

Jake Storms and
Shuray Ghorishi joined the Environmental, Land Use and Natural Resources practice group, and
Craig Carnes, Jr. joined the Litigation practice group. The four attorneys join one of the "Best Law Firms" in Sacramento for Environmental, Water, Construction, and Regulatory Law as noted by

Juliet Cho joined Stoel Rives as an associate in October. Juliet was a research assistant with Professor Linda Carter at the McGeorge School of Law (2009-2010), a summer associate with Stoel Rives (2009), an extern with the U.S. Department of Justice, Environmental and Natural Resources Division (2009), a student teacher for the Street Law International Course in Sacramento (2009), and a Sacramento Bar Association Minority and Diversity Fellow (2008). Juliet received a J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law (2010) and a B.A. in political science from the University of California, San Diego (2004).
Jake Storms, also joining the firm as an associate in October, was previously a summer associate with Stoel Rives (2009), a summer intern with the California Attorney General's Office, Public Rights Division, Environmental, Land Use and Natural Resources Section (2008), a corporate paralegal with Perkins Coie LLP in Seattle (2007), and a corporate paralegal with Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP in New York City (2005-2006). Jake earned a J.D. from the University of California, Davis School of Law (2010), an M.F.A. from the University of Alabama (1997) and a B.A. from Willamette University (1995).
Shuray Ghorishi returned to Stoel Rives in February after serving as a summer associate (2008). Shuray concentrates her practice on land use, the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and other environmental law areas. Prior to joining Stoel Rives she served as a legal intern with Indiana's Department of Local Government Finance (2008) and a legal intern with Oasis Construction in Seattle (2007). She received a J.D. from Indiana University School of Law (2009) and a B.A. in political science from the University of San Diego (2004).
Craig Carnes, Jr. joined Stoel Rives as an associate in May and focuses his practice on litigation matters in the areas of employment law, medical malpractice, business disputes, real estate disputes and environmental law. Craig was formerly an associate at Wilke, Fleury, Hoffelt, Gould & Birney, LLP in Sacramento (2005-2010), worked as an intern with the California Department of Parks and Recreation (environmental/natural resources section) in Sacramento (2009), served as an extern to the Honorable Morrison C. England, Jr., U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California in Sacramento (2005), and worked as a law clerk at Freidberg & Parker Law Corporation in Sacramento (2004). Craig received a J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law (2005) and a B.S. in business administration and finance from California State University, Sacramento (2001).
