SEATTLE- A group of attorneys from the Seattle office of Stoel Rives LLP recently spent a day working on Habitat for Humanity's High Point Project in West Seattle. The attorneys worked on clean-up of the site of two nearly completed duplex units and the preparation of a new worksite which, when completed, will provide safe and affordable homes for deserving Puget Sound families.
When completed, the High Point Project will provide 20 homes as part of a greater planned community that incorporates housing, a recreation center, retail outlets, green space and a library. "We could see what a great neighborhood this is going to become and felt proud to contribute to the project," said Virginia Pedreira, managing partner of the Seattle office. "Everyone felt the special satisfaction that comes from helping those truly in need."
