PORTLAND- Stoel Rives LLP, a full-service U.S. business law firm, today announced that an industry survey rates the firm a market leader among law firms with practices focused on sustainable business on the U.S. West Coast. In the January 2009 issue of Sustainable Industries Magazine, Stoel Rives was ranked fourth among sustainable industry-focused law firms, with 115 attorneys dedicated to renewable energy and other sustainability practices.

Stoel Rives has been at the forefront of the explosive growth of renewable energy in recent years. With one of the largest U.S. renewable energy practices, the firm represents major national and international energy developers and operators in wind, solar, bioenergy, ocean and tidal, and geothermal energy projects throughout the United States and abroad.
