Hacking a Concern for Twitter Users

Stoel Rives attorney Tim Conde spoke to Deseret News on the threat hackers pose to Twitter account users. Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that enables its users to send and read each others' updates, known as tweets. Hackers recently hijacked a twitter account operated by Deseret News. Conde represented Deseret News in talks with Twitter officials.

"Twitter is anxious to get this resolved," Conde said. "It's certainly proof in this online society we all need to be careful and monitor things."
