Geothermal Energy

The western United States possesses a vast potential for producing energy from underground heat sources, and recent years have seen a renewed interest in this promising field. As energy companies and developers bring geothermal generation facilities on line, they confront many of the same complex legal and strategic issues as other large energy producers. They also face additional challenges that are unique to geothermal energy.
