Harvesting Clean Energy Conference
Join Stoel Rives and member in the Seattle office, Graham Noyes at this year's Harvesting Clean Energy Conference; Graham will moderate the "Large Wind: Big Money, Big Future" session, being held Monday February 8 from 11 am to 12:30 pm. This session has been designed to incorporate voices and opinions from the key players who are directly involved in commercial scale wind development in the Northwest and to encourage discussion regarding the genesis of their projects, the challenges of the industry and how they employed financing strategies that ensured project viability. On the financial side, the forum seeks to incorporate dialogue on loan guarantees, tax credits, equity and how these elements come together to fund a large wind project. Regulatory, inter-connection, and other issues specific to the wind industry are also on the agenda for this and other sessions. Other than wind, attendees will also have ample availability to assess opportunities in solar technologies, geothermal, small hydro, biomass and biofuels as well as opportunities and advantages of other energy efficient equipment.
